About the Author

Miss Tanka Das is a lifelong learner whose journey bridges numbers, narratives, and nature. Her academic path is as expansive as her imagination—holding degrees in Commerce, Advanced Accountancy & Taxation, PGDM in Finance & Marketing, B.Ed in English, Geography & Commerce, ECCEd, and a Visharad in Classical Music. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in British & Indian Literature, while completing her PhD in Finance and teaching the same at MIT-WPU, Pune.

After years of working with prominent MNCs and broking firms, she transitioned into education—her true calling—where she found harmony between structured knowledge and creative inquiry.

A passionate cook, voracious reader, and eternal dreamer, Tanka writes with one hand in finance and the other in folklore. She believes beauty exists in everything, and that a deep love for nature anchors all human understanding.

Our Calendar Paradox emerges from this belief—a narrative shaped by curiosity, culture, and the quiet conviction that time, like love, remembers.

Book Our Calendar Paradox

Our Calendar Paradox is a historical science fiction and time-slip love novel that merges the rhythm of Indian traditions with the enigma of European archives.
The story follows Maaya, a brilliant woman from Pune with violet eyes, whose lineage is bound to the mysteries of time, and Caelum, a man with silver eyes from Switzerland, whose family has long been haunted by fractured calendars and forgotten truths.
Between them ignites an immense chemistry—a love so consuming it defies distance, years, and the fragile borders of history itself.
Together, they begin to unravel a hidden symphony of repeating years, where:

  • History folds back upon itself

  • Memories echo across centuries

  • Love survives time’s relentless passage

Their journey carries them from the vibrant streets of Pune and the serene hills of Mulshi, to the glistening lakes of Lucerne and the snow-clad peaks of the Swiss Alps—landscapes as intertwined as their destinies.
Interlacing historical depth, cultural roots, and speculative imagination, the novel reflects how ancient philosophies, folklore, and scientific curiosity converge to shape human destiny in our present year, 2025.
This is not merely a tale about time. It is a story of belonging, passion, memory, and meaning—when the very fabric of time begins to ripple.
